Unfortunately, all the dates for our construction site tours in 2024 are fully booked.
By clicking on the blue button “Construction site tour request” at the bottom of this page, you will reach our calendar with the open tour dates for 2025.
Our construction site tours take you directly inside the mountain. We'll show you the work on the Brenner Base Tunnel from up close.
We offer tours for individuals and small groups of up to 16 people.
It is possible to organise a double tour with 2 groups of 16 people.
For organisational and safety reasons, we are unfortunately unable to offer construction site tours for larger groups.
For larger groups, however, we are happy to offer free guided tours (Tuesday to Friday) through our interactive exhibition in the "Tunnel Worlds" information centre.

Tour sequence and equipment with protective clothing
The tour starts at the “BBT Tunnel Worlds InfoCentre “ in Steinach. After an introductory project presentation, all visitors will receive safety instructions and protective equipment for the tour.
Visitors will then be taken to the construction site for the underground site tour. We will stay below ground for 45 minutes; the entire tour lasts about 2 and a half hours.
